Founded in 1996 by Leah Kelly, we are a professional boutique recruiting firm located in West Chester, PA that offers personalized full life-cycle recruiting services to organizations of all sizes and across multiple industries, with a focus on start-up, entrepreneurial, emerging-growth and small to medium sized companies. Many of our clients are software development companies, technology companies and online marketing agencies to name a few. In addition to a deep client base in the Philadelphia and surrounding areas, we have serviced clients in other regions across the U.S. We have sourced and placed countless candidates in positions within software, technology, digital marketing, sales, operations, business, finance from entry-level to executive level.

Leah Kelly, President:
Prior to forming Professional Recruiting Services in 1996, Ms. Kelly was a software development professional who started early on in her career as a Software Engineer in the banking industry, and ultimately promoted to Management as she continued her career with GMIS (currently a division of McKesson). She joined GMIS, a then start-up company of only 13 employees, as a Software Engineer/Project Manager developing complex, database-driven applications for the healthcare industry. She quickly assumed additional responsibilities as the company grew and was ultimately promoted to Director of Software Development, managing multiple, full life-cycle software projects with additional responsibilities supporting sales in a client facing role. In this capacity, she managed a large team of software and business professionals, and she was instrumental in the development and implementation of GMIS' core product in several different languages and ported across multiple platforms. The company's client base grew and steady hiring occurred, growing from 13 to 80 employees in a short period of time.
After several years in this role, Ms. Kelly decided to use her software, leadership and interpersonal skills in a different capacity and became GMIS' first Corporate Recruiter at a time when the company was in a high growth phase. In this role, Ms. Kelly developed a comprehensive recruitment strategy that was integrated with company goals and product deliverables. She successfully sourced and hired more than 120 professionals in a 16 month period, to include software developers, product marketing, software sales and non-technical healthcare disciplines that range from entry-level to Executive Management. GMIS was later acquired and, as a result, her position, along with many others, was eliminated. Shortly thereafter, Ms. Kelly formed Professional Recruiting Services.
Additionally, Ms. Kelly's firsthand experience with software development has contributed to her success with recruiting all levels of software and technology professionals. She has a strong business acumen that consistently provides unparalleled, Personalized Services and commitment to clients.
